Cats on average have a longer life. Jasmine above proves this theory - she is a 17 year old Siamese that I groom. You'd never know her age by looking at her. She moves quickly, sits on a counter stool when it's time for her dinner and maintains her weight very well.
Her owner says her four buddies keep her acting young as they play in the house. Regular grooming makes her pretty as she sheds all year!
